hammerdins question : wizspike or hoto?!?!

i always see guides saying that wizspike is more useful then hoto.....but when i think about it, sure you get the extra 75 ares, and you get the fcr and mana, but hoto has +3 skills, max 40res which could make up for wizspike, and many more useful mods..... Why do people choose wizzy over hoto?

Use wizpike when you need resist or hitting a FCR bp.

Use hoto if you got enough resist and want more dmg.

my pally is currently lvl 84 in hell, uses hoto, has 80 all res. with no charms. once you get on all the right gear, um'd shako, hoz ( p dia or um ), arach, hoto, niga, mara, ect......the coockie cutter version. you should have high if not perf res.

wiz is good if u can get to the 10-15k hammer dmg point with things such as pcombs and torch. if u have over 10k dmg without hoto then use wiz cuz the mods are way better
