How do you transfere ladder items to non ladder

i know it can be done because i see items that are only suppose to be in ladder in the non ladder realm all the time.

What you see are items that people had from ladder season 2. When the ladder ends, your characters get moved onto non ladder and you take all of your items with you. There is no legit way to do it other than this.
