I think, mana deficiency - main weakeness such chars, as WW-barb and necromancer. WW - is VERY powerfull attack. I think, Blizzard SPECIALLY create big mana price for this attack. But mana potting DELETED this weakeness!

As i already said, my d2 is all errors, so no dueling for me. And without repl life i would be ended in like 5 seconds because of each tele costing 20 mana and each ww like 35-40. Not very hard to get though, but if u only get this char to lvl 91, u got:
4248 life (not a huge loss)
74life/2seconds, making it 37/second.
But, the question is, can u get all this? If u can, then good, your build will be good in 1v1, but in say 2v1 it will get desimated. It will be pretty good in TvT.
Now, without life skillers, and lvl 91 u have:
3643 life
74life/2seconds
So, i really wish u can get those 35 life sks, or otherwise your build will be pretty bad. Btw, this setup that i'm using, is the optimal choice i could find, without losing too much hammer dmg and to be able to get that huge life regen.
Also, u HAVE to use mana pots or insight merc on a barb to be able to last for more than 20 seconds. Also, i think that mana pots are like healing ones, IF A ENERGY SHIELD SORC USES THEM to regen her mana, because her MANA goes down when DMG'ED.
And no, the repl. life is not the problem, not at all, unless u do it for like 20 seconds (950 life regened), or more.
And also, u sure that there will be diablo III? And no, they won't delete the mana pots, because PvM ppl need those, especially casters. The game is not TOTALLY about PvP, u know?
Ok. My pala now have 91 lev.
He have 4551 life and 98 repl life in 2 sek (with shako with perf rubi :lol: ).
He have 4335 life and 92 repl life in 2 sek (with CoA and max DR).
He have anni 20/xx/xx and torch 20/xx. And skillers: fhr,43,41,41,40,40,40,38,37 life.
Base str, base energy, not remember dex, rest in vita.
This is real data.
In 1.09 patch LoD mana potions don't trade in shops.

If it was, blizzard wouldn't have given infinite mana to _only two_ classes. That makes no sense.
So basically, without manapots paladins >>> sorcs >>>> everything else. In a non-mana-regenerating enviroment barbs would be far superior to anything else.
Now nothing of this matters since manapots are generally accepted by 99.98% of all people who pvp, while healing/rejuvs are _N O T_. It's as simple as that.
I use meditation on my hammerdin all the time. Makes it more even vs manapotting eshield sorcs etc. I just dont use 50 or even 20 life repl/sec vs barbs or other meleechars since they are weak enough already.
In the end it's just common sense. High life repl = immunity vs melee. Do you use 100% absorb vs sorcs and call it "dueling"? Cause it isn't...

3. IMO trading mana potions in shops - is error of Blizzard, increasing disbalance, and this error will fixed in future. I hope also, Blizzard will reduce damage of hammers. I hope also, absorb will reduce too. But this is my IMO.
I would like to think I am an experienced Barbarian player. I can beat 90% of all smiters. I use BOTD ghost spear and dish out 11k, with 6.7k life. I can actually outreach smiters, even if it doesn't always seem like it. The ones who run at me are quickly sliced up with retreating whirlwinds at awkward angles. The ones who sit there are much harder, but can still be dealt with, using calculated whirlwinds and leap to stun and outreach them. The hardest ones to duel are the smiters with over 30k defense and who teleport right on top of me. I rarely beat those guys.
