Hope its ok for me to brag a little. But I still smiling huge . Decided to play d2 this morning while waiting to go out with a friend (too early to call her). So began doing Andy and Meph. on my 3rd game I got lost going to meph. Not a huge deal since that sometimes happens. since I had given my xtra gold to a friend yesterday i decided to see if i could fill my inv up before leaving for breakfast. so I opened a treasure chest. and to my surprise a LO rune fell. add this to the tals amulet, 128 shako, gore riders i found yesterday and its been a rather nice couple of mf days . yaay I'm a happy mom

<edit: and yes its ladder so i'm already dreaming of the nice eth fort I shall be making for my hireling>

Don't make an Eth fort, make a non-eth one, just in case you need to use the fort with the legit lo for a melee char.

I had thought of eth fort since the one hr I got last ladder during baal runs was also a Lo and I made a fort my zon is now wearing. so far this ladder I was somewhat lucky (found maras and soj in less then a month? after ladder started) but i had been luckier in non ladder where i found (among other stuff) a pair of near p war travs. funniest part is I dont even play non ladder that often or much. and was like everytime i went there all i needed to do was play 2 or so games. and i had war travs, +1 gc sorcs fire, etc. and only good news is my friends who still play non have been rather happy since anything i find there i give to them.

Congrats on a Lo. Make Fortitude out of it. Or you can make a Grief which will give you insane profits whenever Ladder resets and if you decide to sell it.

I am also on cloud 9. Today I did my first uber tristram run, 85 zealadin with my friend bringing his 84 barbarian along for support and BO/shout. Got a 15/20 barbarian torch and leveled up to 86 after killing the 3rd uber brother.

I've been having a bit of good luck lately too. Vex, gheed's, vortex shield from the pit; hephasto dropped me a 58 mana GC, izzy dropped a 3 dex 52 mana GC and my HF dropped me a GUL this afternoon. Alot more stuff than that but those are the highlight's. Now i'm going nuts trying to resist the temptation to make a RW right now instead of waiting to see what else luck brings me.

God damnit, im not having too much luck, ive found 2 mal 1 um from countess done about 20 HF in hell and gotten 1 gul 1 mal rest lem and under but still, ive managed to get hold off jah ber, zaka, cta 3 so im still happy but hey, hers a question maybe someone could answer: is dusk shroud 10%ed a good place to put my jah and ber? (yes for enigma.. :P ) And whats the % chance of finding vex / gul at travi? anyone know?

We're all having good luck now. I finally got another chance at a 4os +3 Grand Matron Bow again earlier (got one in COWS for once ), and got it. First ever, and now I have to find 4 runes: Lo(yeah right, like I'm ever gonna get one), Ohm(ditto), Jah(same here), and a Lem(at least I have a chance). Fort AND Faith, the best 2. Then, on to find some IAS gear for her. :rolleyes:

Edit: You have a 1:167030 chance of getting a Gul, and a 1:250546 chance of getting a Vex in a 1-player game, 0 MF(like it matters), from a Council Member minion in Trav. Could be more for the uniques themselves, though.
