1. Grief + Fort damage?

Hi..

I read vdzele's damage calc using grief and calculated my damage. My question is: how does the 300% ED from fort add into this. i don't multiply my total damage by 3, do i? cause if that's the case, i'm doing absurd damage.

thanks!

2. 3oo ed from forti is 28%more dmg(can be some less some more. i didnt calculate just checked it in duels). if your opponent have 50%dr it will be 14%more dmg.

3. I thought 300%ed was .30?

Hopefully I'm not OT-derailing this thread with the below questions, but the Grief damage thread-that-is-now-a-sticky-guide is locked heh, and I had a couple questions regarding the numbers posted in there.

1) The original posters' +dmg% numbers for slvl's are way lower then mine...Well, 2 of them are. He said is Zeal lvl 20 was +96% dmg. My zeal lvl 21 is showing as +342%. His Sacrifice lvl 20 was +240%. My sacrifice lvl 21 is showing as +595%. Is there something I'm missing as to why +1 slvl gives a way higher % for these 2 skills? Another skill or something in my gear besides the +1 skill Highlords I'm using? My Fanat lvl 21 shows as +390%, so that seems on par with his +373%.

My Sac+Zeal+Fanat numbers -
I did my own calculations with my stats below:

+397 Grief PB(31-35)
Strength 170
Fanat lvl21 - +390%
Zeal lvl21 - +342%
Sac lvl21 - +595%

428*(1+1.7+5.95+3.9+3.42) = 428 * 15.97 = 6835 * Fortitude(.28?) = 8748?
432*(1+1.7+5.95+3.9+3.42) = 432 * 15.97 = 6899 * Fortitude(.28?) = 8830?

Are these numbers correct? I also use high DS, so I assume most of the time I'm doing double min/max dmg(minus the Hell physical dmg penalty, whatever that is).

One last question, am I to assume +min/max dmg from charms just gets added to the 428/432 side of the equation above? I have around +35 max dmg from charms, so was wondering if its just like adding it in on the left side of the equation.

Thanks for any advice, and hopefully I'm not derailing this thread too much, didnt want a bunch of similar threads going heh.

Your screen shows zeal damage synergized. 96% is the pure lvl 20 damage zeal contributes, every hard point spent in sacrifice raises that amount.240%+96%=336%ed, fully synergized lvl 20 zeal.
I think that's the case.
Every extra combat skill gives 6% ed (+zeal) and every offensive skill 17% (fanaticism bonus). So every extra full skill grants 23% ed. (That expl
ains why zealots don't use skillers, max dmg charms give more damage and ar).Your skill based ed at lvl 21 zeal and fana is 342%+390%=732%.

Your 595% sacrifice damage is irrelevant because it only matters when you attack with sacrifice and not zeal. Remove that amount from your calculations, add the 20% deadly strike from grief (it should always be included,it is part of the weapon itself ) and you must get a number around 6.7k AVERAGE. 15% deadly from gores ,another 15% from guil face and another 30-35% from highlords and your final damage will be a great 10.4k average per SWING. That's the physical part, you should also include the elemental and psn dmg you inflict (grief has venom).

5. Thanks for the replies

Just wondering where you came up with the 28% number.
