USEast lag

I'm just curious. Has anyone else been having severe problems with lag and lost connections on useast today. I was at the computer all day waiting for the heater man to come fix my heater and the lag was horrible. Almost impossible to play. My cable modem showed a good connection and everything else online worked well. I even had problems this evening on another computer at another location, also on a fast cable modem.
It kind of stands to reason that the only day in months that I have had to actually make some progress in the game and I'm lagged out all day. At this rate I will never get my level 83 necro into act V hell. I was hoping to at least kill Diablo today. Lag was too bad to really play the necro so I tried to level a few other characters that would not normally lag as badly as a summoner would. I had no luck at all. I still lagged all the time and lost connection a few times with each character.

I actually had my first 1.11 lag storm today, actually. For about 5 minutes, I was lagging in a Zealot duel to the death with about 12 ghosts. I won, of course, because of my incessant BS and Blaze.
