How about some changes/additions for rare and magic items to make them more useful later in the game?
For example, why not add in some new mods such as:
x% stamina stolen per hit (for low levels. Would have to be a large %to be useful, though)
1-5% chance of Crushing Blow
1-5% chance of Open Wounds
improved Chance to Cast mods
improved charges
Maybe add in some oskills and "x aura when equipped" too. Nothing drastic, though. Just some things that are more in the category of "useful," not "omg1337pwnz0rz," such as Frost Nova and maybe the single-resist paladin auras.
Also, why not beef up the rare and magic items in Nightmare and Hell by preventing some of those mods you can find in act 1 normal from being picked? That +1 max damage/14 ED/+2-3 fire damage weapon is SO useful against Hell monsters... :rolleyes:
When you personalize an item, it should
give extra attributes to the item if the personalizer is equiped with it and
give less attributes (or none) to anyone else.
I think it would be cool to be able to filter bnet games. Like "show only nm games".
"show games with word baal in them" might be too much though.
synergize weaker skills such as firewall, blaze, and inferno as well as frost nova
for pallys get synergies for Conversion to lengthen the conversion time and have monsters folllow you, as well as holy bolts should do dmg to anythign at -50% dmg
Barbarians should get a faster leap attack, and better synergies for bash/stun
amazons bow skills(mage) should have their synergies amped up and so should melee jav skills (maybe impale synergizes jab and fend)
druids thorn dmg from spirit should go back to physical to make people scared of thorns again
assassin charge ups deserve much needed dmg to get more martial arts asns out
necros need their golems to get a much needed beefing as well as fixing poison dagger
item wise
they should release new sets including low lvl to high lvl sets to stem the uberness of runewords, rares should be allowed cruel modifiers and other magic/unique only qualities
release another world event obviously, they also need to make runewords that include gems and or jewels
speaking of jewels, rare jewels aswell should be able to acheive higher mods
im done :P

better rare jewels
make sets worthwhile to use, besides tal rashas and maybe iks
fix leech in hell, not being able to leech off the undead is so annoying
fix minion AI, they are retarded.

Death of duping
Mass Ruststorm which destroys all existing dupes
Nerf of all runeword-given auras (every aura except Thorns should go to lvl8 at max, Thorns doesn't matter all that much anyway)
Nerf of Hammerdins
All mercs become equally useful
A shared stash between characters (although us SPers already have this in the form of ATMA)
It'd be really cool to be able to explore an area in Tristram, like the first game. Descending into the Church would rock.
