surviving in hell

i have a FO/CL sorc

the guide i read says to make LM, CL and L. then it says to max FO and get CM up to 7

will that be good to survive in hell...?

what about immunes?

what kinda merc do i need and what eqip should he have...?

I'm doing the same... I'm not very far into Hell, but it seems do-able (is that a word?). And when you run into LI/CI, I believe that the proper option is to either let your merc tank or run like crazy. I havent finished maxing my Lit skills, but have maxed Orb and have 5-6 points in CM and they are both fairly effective. GL

i made one and its very doable, can do most of hell with ease... here's her gear along with her mercs gear

That's expensive for an FO/CL sorc. Mine had full Tal's and no GC's last ladder. She worked fine, although a little slow in killing meph.

eh, its a word here, although i have seen a lot of people use viable instead.

the build will kill fine in hell.

any immunes you find won't be groups it will be single monsters, boss-type monsters. when you find them, kill them last and let the merc kill while you telekinesis him.
