what game should i get

OK, I love diablo 2 exp. been playing it for like 4 years (I take months off, 2,3,4 months ill just keep my charactors alive thats it, then ill play for a few months again) well i can't bring my self to play at this time so it's time to take a few months off again, what pc game should I buy it has to be like diablo in these ways [drops got to have item drop, charactor development (skills, stat pionts), got to me multiplayer, and fun and makes u say why can't i stop playing]. I heard of warcraft and star craft, probably gona lead towords one of them (most of the friends I had on my list left for them) but what else is out there?

If you're looking for an RTS game then I would definitely recommend wc3+tft, not only do you get the regular game the way it was meant to be played, but when you go online and go to custom games there are literally hundreds of diff "mods" of the game that are a lot of fun.

If you are looking for an RPG similar to *OUCH*, then I would recommend Dungeon Siege/DS II.

Yep, what Rius said. Dungeon siege 1 and 2 are both [crowbar swings] "clones". Another game that's very similar is Sacred.

That's right I forgot about Sacred. It's a pretty good game, and although I haven't tried it, it won the PC Gamer RPG of the year award last year so I'm assuming it has a lot to offer.

Actually I thought it was crap. At least DS II kept me entertained for a few hours, but they are both very similar to [C S].

As a former d2 adict( i played it for 3 years) i can honestly say that World of Warcraft is the game you are searching for. The item system if very much the same, character development is similar and the pvp system is very engaging. Go buy this game, you will not be disapointed.

Ditto that. The game is just unbelievably addictive.

Plus, there's a ton of OTFers in a guild on Llane. You havent lived until youve heard Toader, DC and R++ all bashing Lord Shinnok in surround sound.
