Fortitude has good mods, but I'd rather have the resists/+skills/leech of Chains of Honor on either a smiter or a zealot that is PvM. PvP, I recommend Fort for Melee only duels, and Enigma for Pubs.
As far as what to have any of them in, well... I'd prefer Archon, but I build my pali's to be versitile, so I can wear heavier armors/Lighter armors...

i just like archons cuz pallys look the best by far in them, any other base armor and they dont look that great. of course i can't afford 15% sup ones...
