A quick bow question

I am currently building a FA zon and i have a 4os +3 matri sitting around. Any suggestions on using it or do you think i should try to get myself a +3 5os one instead for facet use?

make ice in the 4 os matri...if you don't have the runes for that a wf will do nicely.

Of course this is assuming you're on ladder and can afford it. If not, keep it in your stash or trade it. A 5-facet bow is probably a bad idea.

If you're on-ladder do Harmony or Ice, if you're off-ladder, do Passion or Hand of Justice. I would recommend against a faceted bow. It'd be incredibly expensive and not gain you that much. Another off ladder option would be to get Mav's set. It should be dirt-cheap off-ladder and is pretty nice for an FA bowie. The 'Ice' bow is, by far, the most desirable weapon for an FA zon, though.

Alright i do have mavs set so i will more than likely use that. But i was also thinking if i could find a nice jewelers armor and facet that instead i could still hit 8 frame FA and have some extra damage along with it as well. Its really up to testing it to see what i can do

I don't know why people are so crazy about facets; +20 percent at the loss of your armor (vital part of a zon) is nuts.

Make an Ice. They're SO FREAKING HARD to find on NL; you'll be a god when the season converts. (Plus, you could make a strafeazon and splash frost novas all over - weeeee...Or make it in a Crus/Hyd/Shadow bow, and make a Frostnovabowsorcthing, if frost nova has synergies...I can't remember...)
