get aoe3 rauth, it's an awsome game. I can get good at rts wihtout playing a lot but i can't beat those people who play fps 24/7.

Never! I don't have 50 bucks to throw around at the moment, not if I want to keep eating anyway. I got my computer yesterday, about a week earlier than I thought. I almost hugged the fed-ex guy. Anyways, it came with FarCry, half-life2, and bet on soldier(sucky, but its free, so whatever). I'm cruising through FarCry at the moment, awesome game. Should get the internet hooked up in a few days or so.

Wish I had time to play fps a lot, but I don't, so you can still play me and have a decent shot. It's not a complicated game. Aim faster and more accurately than the other guy and you win. Only other advantages you can have are knowing maps and whatnot.

Technically we aren't even all that off topic despite the 5 pages of non-diablo stuff. Its all pvp .

bvc builds are quite easy to predict the movement and even easier to stunlock and defeat if the barb is not absorbing.

By the way, I'd just like to mention that Half-life2 is unfreakingbelievably awesome, everyone should play it if your computer can run it. The whole zombie town section was just insane.

Yeah, I made sure I would be able to run every game with all the highest settings when I configured my computer. I've got all the details turned up and running at the max resolution with no problems in frame rate. Not bad for a system that only cost me 1300 including 19 inch moniter and speakers.

HL2 looks freakishly real in every area. I catch myself just stopping to look around instead of actually doing what I'm supposed to. That and playing with the gravity gun, its just plain fun.

man i really wanna get aoe3 but my friends said it has even higher requriemtns than battlefield 2. and i don't wanna get a new comp so that i'll feel obligated to play games more and get distracted from more important things

Heh, I downloaded a demo of aoe3 yesterday. It's fun, but it really is just aoe2 with a few interesting new features and better graphics.

Learn to prioritize plz.

Oh, and I finally got my wireless internet set up yesterday. It's aproximately 600 times faster than my dialup. Just a Little faster.

come get owned in d2. And someone who doesn't really RTS shouldn't talk as if they know what they are talking about. What seem like little changes in an RTS can completely change the style of the game and the balancing of the factions. Only an RTS expert can tell the real difference.
