Awesome!
Crappy as hell!
Okay.
I didn't see it / Durf / Boobies / Poing / Tightening the reins
idk, ive played all classes excpt druids, and for SP i had an easier time with my barb...the reason is quite simple: BO
max it and you are a hard to kill badass (specially with good elemental resists)
no other caharcter (xcpt druids i guess) have SOOOO much life
idk y every1 voted for necros...sometimes your mob gets kicked really fast and you get in trouble (BE HONEST!), also indoor places can be a pain (maze types), and bosses (big ones) can be hard to beat (unless you are 100% artillery i guess)
I sent my vote the way of the sorc. Can get by with minimal gear and the added bonus of teleport is significant IMHO.
If I'd every played a Fishy that may have swayed my view towards necro.
Unwtinked... Nobody can beat a summoner, but if you want to be a little bit more interactive, frenziers are a good choice too
yay frenzy, 1 of my favorite builds. get a weapon that blinds target on hit, hire a holy freeze merc, cast war cry and BO often. monsters are stunned, blinded, and slowed while you and the merc have tons of life.Originally Posted by Über

I find Zealot paladins to be the easiest, from my personal experience. I've tried all of the classes with various builds, but there's not a single one, other than my Poison Dagger Necromancer, that is more fun, nor easier.
Zealots are not necessarly the most powerfull characters at the end of the game, but they are above average, and you get a steady build throughout normal, nightmare and hell. Also, depending on the aura you use, it's not gear dependant that much. You need some basic mods on the equipment, but there's a wide choice of gears with those mods on them.
Oh, and I have to mention that I'm a melee type of guy, I never really liked ranged attackers, wich does influence my choice!
I went with Necro as the easiest. A Fishy with 20+ minions running around is dead safe, and they kill pretty effectively, even without CE.
Since the discussion seems to have drifted onto a number of categories, I always suggest some kind of Sorc as a first character: usually a Meteorb. The MFing is made a whole lot easier, and, from there, one can start building all kinds of other chars.
As for the most fun... Well, first place goes to my Meteorb, whom I love dearly. Second place goes to my Wolfbarb. Although getting to 79 was a pain, its wicked fun once you're there.
dear god, nobody has voted for a druid yet.
