Rerolling charms?

Whats the deal with rerolling charms. I think its just charm +3 p gems and you get a new charm. But whenever I try that I always end up with a low level charm in exchange for my higher level one. Am I doing something wrong or do I reroll that low level one after?

just get a charm which the Ilvl is higher than 50, then keep rolling that charm until you get something

sometimes you can get lucky and sometimes you never get anything decent

last one I did was level 61 or something, then it turned into a level 10 +10 health or something charms. SO just keep rerolling that level 0 one then?

the itemlevel is equal to the level of the monster that dropped it. it has nothing to do with the mods or level requirements on it.

Item level (Ilvl) and the level requirement of the charm are 2 seperate things. The Ilvl do not change with the reroll but the lvl requirement might do (actually it will most likely change). The Ilvl is determined by the monster who dropped it. There is no way for you to see the Ilvl.
Assuming the charm is of high enough Ilvl in the first place (dropped in nightmare flayer jungle or later) you have a chance of getting a skiller for each reroll.

Ok, that makes more sense then. Rolled a different one 4 times in a row before, and each time the charm level kept dropping by 5-10 levels and I've never gotten a higher charm level after rerolling yet so it was confusing me. I'll just have to keep at it then. Also I take this to mean I can just take any charm off a high level mobs and reroll that, makes it alot easier than what I was doing before and only doing level 42+ ones.

I got a sc from HBaal this morning. Mods were +5 life +15 stamina. The ilvl is 99, right? so I can reroll it to get a shimmering one with 0.82 % chance, right ?
But can someone confirm to me that
1) even ilvl > 80 charms or ammu can be dropped with very low affix level and low requirements. If yes, then I am annoyed, I did several pit runs , got stupid mods on charms and ammu and mix them in my stash with charms dropped when my character was 10< clvl <40, so I cannot identify or remember any longer what are the goof ilvl to craft or reroll.
2) I was offered 2 gc +1 curse necro : alvl is 50. What could be the ilvl of these gc. is ilvl sufficient to reroll to poison skiller?

3) What is the qlvl of ammu and sc, lc , gc and ring ?

It's all about luck. I did manage to roll a PNB GC + 38 life last lad and it increased my wealth significantly.
