Im not sure I really understand the difference between +ED and simple +dmg, can anyone explain which would do more dmg and why?
ED = lets say you do 100 dmg. and the ED is 50%
100 x 50% = 100 x .5 = 50. so 100 + 50 = 150. you do 150 dmg if you have 50% ed.
not sure with +dmg. but +dmg surely takes the spot.![]()
its simple +dmg adds that much damage to the min and max of the weapon, grief wins hands down vs any other 1h weapon (for pure damage anyway).
Enhanced Damage %
Zerker Base damage: 24 to 71
Oath ed% = 340%, so you multiply the base min/max by that and you get:
24 * 3.4
71 * 3.4
81.6 - 241.4 (min - max damage)
Should be accurate if my calculations are correct.
Grief's +damage if maximum is +400 damage. That damage is added directly to the min/max damage of the weapon which would result in this:
24 + 400
71 + 400
424 - 471 (min - max damage)
So Oath Zerker would have an average damage of around 162 and Greif would have an average of 448 damage. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Here's a correction on Oath:
Eth Zerker Base damage: 36 to 106
Oath +Enhanced Damage% = 340%
36 * (3.4 + 1)
106 * (3.4 + 1)
158-466 (min - max damage)
312 Average
EDIT: Minor nitpick: grief would have 447.5 average damage.
Actually, a rare zerker with 530 ed can do 447.3 average damage. More if it has some other mods.
Are you guys including the venom from Grief? I thought that would boost it up a little bit.
Ah, forgot about Oath's Indestructable mod allowing the use of Eth base weapons. As for the Grief, I just rounded.Originally Posted by Masas
The Venom is lvl 15 meaning it is 305-325 (315 average) damage which drops to 52.5 after pvp penalty and then down to 13.125 damage after 75% res.Originally Posted by De4dEyE
