Lower Kurast Runs?

I've seen many people exclaim on this board about how great LK runs are for runs and gold but when I tried running it on b.net (I up till now played on the HC Ladder, RIP Lvl 80 Trapsin) I really didn't know what to do.

Is their a cetain path I should take, and what character would be most effective at the runs. Is it wise to kill anything etc... I'm really in the dark on this.

I think it's a good area for runes and gold because of all the chests/logs/bodies etc. I'd imagine any character who can survive/kill well in hell will do fine. The monsters there are quite easy.

Most people doing LK runs for runes don't kill anything. And they do it at p8, to increase the number of drops. /players x is an advantage of SP though, as well as being able to rerun an area without changing the map. Kurast runs might not be profitable on b.net because of changing maps and not knowing where the chests / logs are, and the need for more players in the game who most likely want theri share.

Blizzard Sorc. The Best IMO, if I remember correctly there are no CI's in the LK. Running the chests are fine, but killing monsters are also very rewarding. And with Pure Blizzard most monsters go down in one to two Blizzards(/players 8) with or without a good Merc.

In my experience I like having a new map everytime I run the LK. Reason being is when I already have a map from the last game I don't know where I've been and where I havn't....and usually you want to clear it all. So with a new map you know where you've been and what you've opened...(chests, skellys, logs..whatever..)

It's very fun, quick and rewarding. Hope this helps.
