Corner from my home: $3.19 / gallon regular, $3.29 mid, $3.39 supreme. Woohoo! Let's get rid of those giant Ford Excursions, Expeditions and Navigators.... Time to invest in a Toyota Prius.
Somehow the amount of $$ spent on Iraq and the deaths correlates to the rising gas.
In the moderately rural Rio Grande Valley area of Texas...one of the top 3 poorest areas of the US, where things are usually moderately priced...I, today, paid $3.00 per gallon for the lowest octane.
I drive a 2004 Toyota Tundra. It cost me $56 to fill up from 1/4 tank. I wept.
The price today in some parts of New Brunswick is up to $1.30 Cdn for regular. Converted to US at yesterday's closing rate of $1.1915, that makes for $4.15 US a gallon.
My friend and I are thinking of starting to pimp out our wives to pay for gas.
(I drive a van, takes 19 gallons - $78.85 US to fill).

Wow, even here in BC in the same country I've rarely seen the prices go higher than $1.10 Cdn.Originally Posted by kobold
$2.76 for regular here in Bellows Falls VT. Pretty moderate I guess. I drive a Nissan Xterra, and I'm squeezing 20-22 mpg out of it, but that's still not much.
British petrol prices are roughly 3 times greater than American ones iirc.
Its $2.99 regular, $3.09 middle, $3.19 premiun here in Milwaukee. Yesterday it was $2.69. I smell a price gouge here or some other sort of sabotage other than the hurricane.
I drive a '95 Oldsmobile 88 and get about 20MPG on average. It'll take me a good $50-60 to fill my tank once it gets to empty. Luckily I'm at 3/4 of a tank so hopefully prices will level off a bit in the next week. (I'm probably dreaming.)
Aaahhh true, but your mass transit system is roughly 30 times better than it is here in the U.S, or at least in Milwaukee.Originally Posted by Machina

Costco is cheaper by .10 cents, and it (puplic pumps) will likely go up by 20 cents by tonight.
