7. Assassins: No particular reason; I just don't like them (C/C MA assassins can be fun though).
6. Druids: Werebears are cool, but Winddruids annoy me too much. I still have to try a Summoner though.
5. Necromancers: I love Skelemancers, but all the other variants just don't appeal to me.
4. Amazons: Amazons with bows ->. Amazons with javalins ->
.
3. Sorceresses: Powerful and fun to play.
2. Paladins: So many variants in 1.10/1.11...
1. Barbarians: Berserkers, Frenziers, WW-barbs, Singers... I love them all!!
It's no surprise to see Paladin (probably due to the noob-loved Hammerdin) and Sorceress (owner of Normal mode) at the top two spots. I voted for Necromancer due to its versatility and its ability to compete in Hell with almost any build.
My favourite character is hard, hmmm it depends on the builds at the momment it would be paladin due to the tesladin. I had so much fun with this character.
Aman
I think I posted this at least five times, but I'll do it again  :
sorc > sin > zon > necro > druid > barb > pally (just my opinion of course)
That teleport is my favourite skill should suffice for an explanation. Other chars can teleport with teleport charges or enigma  , but not as fast as a sorc can.
I don't know why I like the female characters more than the male characters, though.
Here's my personal scale for them..
MELEES-------------------HYBRIDS------------------CASTERS
Barbarian-Paladin-Assassin-Druid-Amazon-Sorceress-Necromancer
I like most characters who are versatile...
and commonly on those in the HYBRIDS section....
(Though Im not really sure to put the druid in the middle, since he can't really summon his elemental skills in melee-form "WB/WW Form")
So... my rankings would be..
1 Amazon - What can I say? She is just the most versatile (spears sucks tho)
2 Assassin - Traps/MA are awesome!
3 Paladin - Speed is the name of the game.
4 Druid - Nature is just beatiful! ^_^
5 Barbarian - Power is the word.
6 Sorceress - Mana intensive!
7 Necromancer - He sucks big time![]()
Palladin all the way! They're dreamy. In a masculine, demon-slaying, hand of God sort of way.
Barbarian got my vote. I've Pat'd two (WW, and Frenzy). I've Mat'd a meteorb sorc as well. I haven't really played the other characters, except necromancer in Act II normal right now. I'm having a blast with him though!
Assassin by far for me. Every build I've made, I've had a blast. Cloak of shadows is just too powerful![]()
Here we go again:
7- Barbs - they are plain dumb. Patted only 1, a frenzier, kinda cool. Have lots on hold, because I tried some of them before choosing the frenzier. Maybe will try a singer one day. My Wolfbarb also advanced a little.
6- Necros - Patted a fishy, and nothing else. Too boring, I think. Have a poison/skelly and a bone/skelly somewhere mid way.
5- Sorcs - Don't know why, really. Matted a Meteorb, and have a blizzsorc in hell. Also some other sorcs spread around (ranged enchantress, charged boltress).
4- Amazons - They are slightly better then sorcs. Lightning everywhere is cool, and bow skills are awesome. Matted a LF/Strafer and my FA/Multi is on her way. A spearzon is on pause.
3- Assassins - Versatile and fun. Matted a talon/trapper, the funniest build I ever played, and have a PS in hell - and lots on normal act 1/2, like a pure trapper, a BF sin, a tiger/tail, a Dragon Claw/Venom/something attempt.
2- Paladins - they are way too cool, and fit every situation. Patted an avenger and a Fire Templar (today just templar). A zealot was my first Diablo char, and got one patted in 1.09. Now a cleric, a hammerdin, a tesla-freezealot and a pure zealot wait their turn.
1- Druids - what can I say, they rock! Patted a Maul bear, a Fury/Rabies (currently being rebuilt to put those points into poison creeper), a Windy, have a hunter in NM act 5, a fire caster and a fire bear in the plans. A Fury WW was my first pat ever, in 1.09.
It's honestly a tie between Druid and Necromancer for me. However, I voted for the Druid as he was my first Pat.
Back in 1.09, a meleementalist. With maxed Armageddon and Hurricane, I wielded the Earthshaker Battle Hammer. I would wade into the fray, swinging oh so slowly (this was before I had any clue as to IAS). Hurricane slowed the enemies and Armageddon dished out most of the damage. *sigh*, those were the daysPlus who doesn't chuckle when Dire Wolves grunt down corpses?
But I love the versatility of Necromancers. Especially in 1.10/1.11.
