In Lafayette Parish(same thing as county for out of staters. Dunno what to call it for people from different countries) There's a rule about how long boys' hair can be. There has been a lot of controversy(sp?) about it.
The current rule states that your hair may not touch your collar. It has also been said that it may not go below your earlobes, but, to my knowledge, that is not official.
Personally, I think that there shouldn't be a rule. What do you think?
I know your decisions won't change the rule, I just want to know your opinion.
certainly not, old chap. If we allow that then the next thing we know those teenagers will be smoking, drinking and having sex.
Erm... that's already happening.Originally Posted by shermo

I think it's a stupid rule, but there have probably been much worse.
Is it a private institution or public?
It's a public school.Originally Posted by ZeratulsAvenger

Hm. I think that guys should have as long hair as they'd like. The not touching the collar part wouldn't bother me, but my bangs n whatever go down past my earlobes ( aka: The emo haircut. Call it what you will. Long in the front, then short in the back. )
At private schools, I can accept that. (my school r sux)
But at a public institution? That's BS.
Sounds like you can have it as long as you want as long as it doesnt touch your collar or go past your earlobes.Originally Posted by Feceset
