ok gonna open another thread its that ok?(lots off people online)
ok dream for example it has "10% Chance To Cast Level 15 Confuse When Struck" now i hate chance to cast curse items overiding my curses but does it count as been "struck" when you have BA because doesnt that mean BA is been struck and not you and therefore if you have good Damage asorb say 1000 (btw is that enogh for BA for hell pvm?) and keep BA casted then you shouldnt ever cast confuse wich will overide my AmpD rite?
Doesn't work that way. First you have the defense check. If you fail this you count as being struck. Things that come after the defense check just determine how much damage your character receives from the blow.Originally Posted by Grimes

Is blocked considered struck? Or does it actually have to be damage?
i believe block is part of the defense check.
Block comes after the defense check. So it is considered a hit.Originally Posted by Zexfer
Think about it. The monster still hits you. Your Necro only manages to push something in between the monster's weapon and his soft white flesh.
