why sand treks and not waterwalk?

Why is sand treks more preferred than waterwalks on a pure hammerdin?
if u have enigma...str is uneeded cause it gives all the str u need. also waterwalk gives more life? why is sand trek stilll chosen by many others?

i've never made a hammerdin, but could it be because of the +15 vit? as far as i can see, hammerdins stand in the middle of heards of enemies (exp: right where baal's minions appear), so more life, the better.

    good point.

    lets compare the stats...

    waterwalks:
    Defense: 112-124 (varies)(Base Defense: 33-39)
    Required Level: 32
    Required Strength: 47
    Durability: 14
    Assassin Kick Damage: 28-50
    +180-210% Enhanced Defense (varies)
    20% Faster Run/Walk
    +100 Defense Vs. Missile
    +15 To Dexterity
    +5% Maximum Fire Resist
    Heal Stamina Plus 50%
    +40 Max Stamina
    +45-65 To Life (varies)

    sand treks:
    Defense: 158-178 (varies)(Base Defense 56-65)
    Required Level: 64
    Required Strength: 91
    Durability: 14
    Assassin Kick Damage: 60-110
    +140-170% Enhanced Defense (varies)
    +20% Faster Hit Recovery
    +20% Faster Run/Walk
+ (1 Per Character Level) +1-99 Maximum Stamina (Based On Character Level)
    +10-15 To Strength (varies)
    +10-15 To Vitality (varies)
    50% Slower Stamina Drain
    Poison Resist +40-70% (varies)
Repairs 1 Durability In 20 Seconds

1 major thing i see is that sand treks have fhr, which is why people chose them.

    y treks are better

+15 str means 45 more to life
+15 vit means another 45 to life
    20 fcr

    however

waterwalks add 15 to dex which is like 45 to life pls the alrdy 65 to life

in the end it comes down to more life less str to less life more def and fhr

in the end more ppl chose the later

Yes 15 vita on treks doesnt get mulitiplied by BO. So i'd probly less than half that value for 20 life, 15 str for 45 and 20 fhr for....80. thats 145 life ^^!
