Really? The first two were atrocious.Originally Posted by Chynobi

Ditto. The first one wasn't amazing, but was at least watchable. I walked out of 40 Days and 40 Nights and into the first Resident Evil. It was the lesser of those two particular evils.Originally Posted by Ash Housewares
But the second one, good god was that horrible. Kinda the same dynamic as Mortal Kombat 1 and 2.
I'd like to see a Dawn of the Dead 2...nothing new, but basically from another groups veiwpoint. Where are they held up at? When or what were they doing when they starting see the dead. What are they using as weapons? How many hot chicks in that group..stuff like that. Would be cool...esp around the Oct. Kinda get into the mood for Halloween.
Also a Hulk 2 I would like..esp being a fan of the green manchine. Also I could take my kids to go see it. They think the Hulk and Spiderman are awesome.
I know there wont be any more LOTR anymore...but damn I miss that Dec.18th date to watch a awesome movie. Someone should come up with something..or just show the damn things all over again at the movies at or around that time. I looked forward to those movies like a Christmas gift from the theatre every year. Good times.
When Return of the King finished, I got up and felt sad and elated at the same time. Elated because it was an amazing amazing movie. Sad because I knew that was the last of that story we'll be seeing.
Unless they let Jackson direct the Hobbit.
Lol, Ash, I don't think anyone picked up on that. Unless you're all in on some joke I'm not privy to.
I haven't seen the Narnia trailer, I'll pick it up on Apple tonite I suppose. Willy Wonka looks cool I guess, Johnny Depp is awesome but child actors are always iffy. I liked Firefly so I'll definitely go see Serenity when it comes out here (probably never). Pirates 2 is a ways off but it should be entertaining.
Sin City and Dawn of the Dead haven't come out here yet so I can't comment. X-men 3 looks to be being directed by the Brett Ratner of the Rush Hour films... we'll just have to see. Actually I think at this stage the movie I'm most looking forward to is the next Harry Potter.
I'm sure the Hobbit will be made eventually, they might even get Jackson to do it. With the huge fanbase the films have garnered I don't see how it'll be possible for whatever director they get to mess it up. It's a much easier adaptation than LotR, a much more linear and self-contained story. The groundwork has already been laid down by Jackson so any decent director should be able to make an excellent film out of it. At this stage I doubt the public will allow anything less.
I am waiting on The Dukes of Hazzard!!!!
duh
There will be no Dawn of the Dead 2..that was entitled Day of the Dead..been done already and hope they don't "remake" it like they did Dawn.
Ash..the only part of the RE movie I liked was the laser hallway. That was gruesome. The rest of the movies were Bah..seen it before.
Narnia is the only movie preview that has been remotely interesting to me.
