Plenty of Thunder and Lightening around here too, and tornadoes.
So hows Oblivion treating you rashi?
So Rashi have started Oblivion? It seems very interesting but I've never had time to try it. Is it worth a try?
So who still hangs out around here?
Oblivion isn't bad, but its not like Morrowind. The main quest is rather short when you plow strait through it. I mean it has great graphics some nice gameplay. The monster leveling system works so that the monsters level with the player so they always stay around the same level. While that sounds good, you can't expect too many great items at lower levels nor great quest rewards as they also level with you. The Dark Brotherhood is too short too : (. Probably the best thing about the game is the fact you can download so many different armors/weapons/etc to keep the game fun/different, there are some nice models out there.
I echo that sentiment BAMF. I thoroughly enjoyed Oblivion and thought the Shivering Isles was quite interesting, but I really liked Morrowind. I sank hours and hours, and hours, and some more hours into that game. I'm not quite sure what it was, perhaps there were a lot more persnickety dunmer in Morrowind, but I think it was just how incredibly open-ended the game was. It's kind of neat that some of the characters like M'aiq the Liar made it back into Oblivion. All this talk is making me want to go play Oblivion again, maybe I will, I still have the Knights of the Nine expansion to try.
Jary!! Aside from working hard how are you doing? Are those hours going to keep up for a while?![]()
Oblivion is so much better than Morrowind. Archers don't have to hit their head on the screen everytime they aim and miss due to roll chances. It's overall cleaner and the gameplay is smoother. Oh, and you actually can follow the main storyline!
Archers smarchers. Who needs arrows when you can just sneak around and poke everything with Umbra?
Honestly I don't think you can compare the two games except for the fact they are made by the same people. Morrowind was deeper/longer/etc, while Oblivion is cleaner/funner/and seems to be streamlined for people who don't have 100 hours to put into a quest. Overall I think they are both great games. Knights of the Nine was pretty fun, I never did the SI expac though. Sneak+lil knives+arrows=FTMFW!!
