WTF Ancients

Ok so i just did the ancients with my Metorb Sorc who is lvl39. I proceded to destroy the ancients on players 8. ok that was easy but once it was done it occured to me that i did not get a lvl off of them. WHAT is the freaking deal?!? i thought that the ancients were supposed to lvl atomatically. WHY did they not lvl me?!!?!!?

They don't get you to the next level automatically. They give you a set amount of XP (20, 40 and 60 million, respectively for their difficulty levels, I think). This XP is set, and is not based on /playersX.

Also, now you can only gain one level, not 5 at clvl 20 (norm) or 7 at clvl 40 (NM).

I ran Normal Ancients last night with my Meteorb sorc and didn't level either. I think I was level 45-ish at the time.

As crg said, the 20 million EXP that you gain from the ancients in normal wasn't enought to lvl you up.

IIRC. Normal is 1.4 mil, NM is 20 mil, and H is 40 mil

Also, playing at P8 only makes it harder. You still get the same amt of exp for killing them as its a quest reward. IIRC, killing them again only yields you 1 exp each.
