Do we get to make fun of question 5? I personally like veal. The more boxed in, the better. And don't get me started on turtle eggs; man I could eat a million of those.
I hope this is for a junior high project.
This is actually a senior level class in high school. Its some kind of multi-tiered project where we are opening a resturaunt and we are supposed to do a survey in the intial phase and have 50 people answer, then decided what kind of resturaunt and go through all the phases of seeking out business loans etc. . .Originally Posted by maccool
Its not really an economics class. Its more like we think all of you are too stupid to have a grasp on actual economics so we are going to teach you how to balance a check-book.
I never let ethics get in the way when im hungry, dont know about you guys though....

1. How often do you eat at restaurants?
Between once every other week and twice a week, depending on mood and/or social events.
2. What is your favorite restaurant, and for what reason?
Local pizza place (depending on home/college). Pizza is good, cheap, and convenient location.
3. What is your least favorite restaurant, and for what reason?
I can't really remember any out of the countless unimpressive ones.
4. Do you repeatedly patronize restaurants that you enjoy?
Yes.
5. Do you enjoy restaurants that serve ethic foods? If so, which kinds?
Yes, and all. Good food is good food, no matter where it came from. I'll enjoy anything that sounds good and is in a convenient location.
6. Do you enjoy themed restaurants? If so, what kinds of themes?
I'm apathetic towards theme. I won't get any extra enjoyment from one, but I won't ignore one just because of a theme.
7. Do you enjoy family-oriented restaurants?
Somewhat. They're good for group social things and enjoyable for that, but I wouldn't pick one if I was by myself.
8. Do you enjoy alcoholic drinks with certain meals?
Under 21.
9. Are you bothered by smoking sections in restaurants?
Depends on if the smoke is very well contained. If it isn't, then absolutely yes, I hate the smell.
10. About how much do you usually spend on a meal at a restaurant?
$5-15, depending on quality of resaurant. I don't drink, so the food had better be absolutely amazing if it's over $15.
11. What kind of restaurant do you attend most often? (choose all that apply)
a. fast food b. sit-down c. buffet-style d. other (please specify)
A) Occasionally, when it's convenient and want something cheap and want it now.
B) Most of the time.
C) Does a college dining hall count? That's the only buffet-style food I eat with any frequency.
12. How much would you be willing to spend for a meal at the following types of restaurants?
a. fast food b. sit-down c. buffet-style
A: $5-7 (any more than $7 for a fast food hamburger and fries is excessive)
B: $7-15 (no drinks, so the price is lower)
C: $7-10 (if a buffet isn't cheap, there's no point to it)
13. Rank the following from most important (1) to least important (6) in your restaurant choice:
1) quality of food (otherwise what's the point, I'll just cook it myself)
2) price range (I'm a college student, I can't afford to waste money on overpriced food)
3) variety of menu selection
4) quality of service (as long as it's not bad/rude service, I can live with apathetic service)
5) quality of atmosphere (as long as it isn't terrible, I don't care about it much)
6) other (none)
14. Do you consider quantity of food to be more important than the quality?
No, unless the quantity comes at the price of tiny un-filling "meals".
15. What kind of restaurant would you like to see opened in your area?
None that I can think of, I have a good variety of restaurants nearby.
16. Are there any other factors that may influence what restaurants you decide to eat at?
Location. For the car-less college student like me, it has to have good location. It doesn't matter if it's the best restaurant ever if I can't get to it easily.
