Ah, so they did fix the Marrowalk thing. I was somewhat uncertain of this until now so I was thinking "it doesn't really matter which I max first, wall or prison, so I'll do wall first just in case prison is to be avoided due to Marrowalk'
Wouldn't boneshade be a good weapon option for this build? It will give 7 points to teeth and bone armor instead of 6 points and also provide some fcr. Your bonespirit would only recieve 4 points though... Still, I think it's a candidate
I cant really see how teeth would ever beat bonespear... much more convenient with a long range high dmg piercing spear than a bunch of short range low dmg bolts... ofc you can get both and mix and match but w/e
Can someone please edit this to take out marrowalks bug?
This is severely annoying. I cant stand builds that use this in the slightest. It hasnt been around for years, can someone edit or note something?
I like the build and in totality it does more damage than spear. if you hit 12 monsters with 700 damage vs one with like 2000 damage, you do immensely more damage. yes bone spear pierces, yes it only hits 2 monsters, don't lie. I had a bone spear guy, 99% of the time it was hitting ONE monster. sometimes it would hit 1 1 1 2 2 1 1 1 1 1 2 1 1. monsters move.
spirit does more damage for CE builds. it ensures a faster death of one monster, and spear only hits one monster the vast majority of the time.
however, a dentist hits all monsters all of the time.
I love this build so far, im new to D2 so not sure if this is a problem leveling with this or im just horrible with teeth, trouble fighting single target. Im pretty early on but ive died about 7 times trying to get through an area, do i just need to go back and fight more?
In case you don't realize, this seems to have been more of a novelty build created because Teeth is such a rarely employed skill. Bone Spear is just more practical than Teeth. You can probably demonstrate this to yourself by playing around with both skills for a while. If you're really attached to Teeth, well, magic damage is still magic damage and with enough synergies, it's still enough to take on basically anything that isn't immune. I don't think there's any fix to Teeth difficulties other than persistence and the use of Bone Wall/Prison and curses for crowd control.
