This is it. I'm finally broke. My car had to get repairs. It took more money than I had planned. Now I need to find a way to earn a lot of money fast, because I want to play Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. Today I dl-ed the demo and it made it painfully obvious that my GeForce 4 card no longer pulls its weight. With all the goodies off and the rest at a medium setting I still had lag now and again.

My dad suggested getting a job. Now I need to find a job that doesn’t suck royally, pay sweet and has good hours. I still want to be able to do homework, go to the gym and have some spare time. This probably means sacrificing my Saturday. The one day in the week I can get some proper sleep and gaming in.

Bad News - Yesterday when I was anaesthetized and had a big rubber tube thing shoved down my throat they found that I have a hole in my heart, and it's quite possible that I'm going to need open heart surgery to repair it.

That sucks. Let us know when you are about to enter the Hospital of Doom for your surgery.

Good News - I found a quarter.

Unfortunately I’m too old to be useful for most jobs available near my home. Since I’m 20 they need to pay me more than double what they need to pay a 15 year old. So what I need to do is find a job that requires a drivers license, or is too dangerous for a 15 year old. That would mean something like driving a money transport, although I don’t think those guys hire 20 year old Chem students.

EDIT: So my DVD Burner doesn't function. When I put in a DVD it tries to load them and makes that annoying power up sound, but nothing happens. Anybody got any bright ideas on what is going wrong?
