All the sites that bring you high quality subs, such as ANBU and Dattebayo, will stop subbing a series once it is licensed. They do this because they face a real risk of getting sued by the company that licensed the series. It has happened on several occasions.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind supporting the creators of a wonderful series. I would gladly pay for the series if I could get the original Japanese with English subs. What I’ll be paying for now (if I ever manage to find the DVD’s in Holland) is a dub with altered names and scenes that will be censored. Most likely the company that licensed Naruto will butcher every episode. The rumours about the name changes seems to back this up.

I hope they won't remove too much violence and blood from Naruto, although it's obvious that the swearing won't be translated. The rumors about the name changes started as soon as the news was known, and how horrible as they might seem, I doubt they'll change the names much. There is no understandable way for a person to say Sasuke in English, so there's a tricky one though. If they just keep the Japanese way of saying names they'll be alright.
