Dodge vs no Dodge

Here;s my dilemma;

Javazon1;

1 point in Dodge, Evade and Avoid. 1 point in Decoy and Valkiry. Rest comes from equipement. Decoy and Valkiry are very cool, but I use Valkiry mainly for another Decoy. The problem is the needed points in Dodge and Evade. Whenever I'm in the middle of a pack trying to land some Charged Strikes my Zon is constantly Dodging and Evading. It's fine when she evades hurtfull attacks, but not when she's evading some stupid arrow and letting the hurtfull monsters live longer and able to attack.

No points in Dodge, Evade and Avoid, and hence no Valkiry. She's still being trained, but what are your thoughts on this one? Do you regard Dodge, Evade and Avoid as troublesome as me, or do you think they are as usefull as promised? Is the lack of a Valkiry bad or just a minor tradeoff?

Problem is, you have Faster Hit Recovery and Faster Block Rate, but no Faster Dodge


Anyway, with my sorcs I never needed more then block and a good merc, so I figure an amazon can do without too. But I'm on the same line with you about the Valkyrie (had a typo there) being quite usefull in Hell as tank (especially with good Dodge, Evade and Avoid), but not really as killer (maybe with more points)

Well, she needs 17 points to spawn with a rare warpike, but if you wear great items, you will always "outkill" her.

Actually I never played a meleezon in HC, so I would probably start testing that with only 1 point in DAE, because I am just so used to getting a Valk and Decoy (Hell, even a Clay or Iron Golem if I have the runewords/items, hehe).

Maybe DAE was really onle ever meant to be used by bowazons..shame then that you HAVE to invest points here to get Valk.

LF-javazons with DAE around 50% and 75% block are pretty much immortal ^^

She's gonna be furyzon yes, but sometimes I like to hit with Charged Strike and DAE get's in the way of that. She's currently lvl 80 and doing fine without DAE. Gonna put a point in Decoy though, so nice to hac=ve it to gather large mobs of monsters.
