Which shield/armor is THE way for a fire sorc?

Hi, I'm interested in knowing which shield and armor combo you guys think works better. I'm biased towards the raw, pure fire damage, and my merc already got Infinity

Shield: Lidless with Fire Facet, or Spirit, or Phoenix
Armor: Chains of Honor, Arkaine with Fire Facet or Skin of Vipermagi upped with Fire Facet

Really, I'm lost, I just can't decide myself which way to go...
My main question with shields is: Does the plus to all skills is better than the -28 to fire resistance or not? Counting with the Infinity

Same thing goes to armor.. oh boy

dont know about the shield really, but if you want raw damage, wouldnt a Fireball or Meteor Ormus do the work better, with high +firedamage and a nice little facet in it? +20% from a perfect ormus with facet, in addition to +3 to the skill you plan to use, that means a lot of extra damage!

yeah they would... but to find/trade for such would be way to hard

But runes like dol-um-ber-ist and whatever sick runes phoenix needs are of course easy to get.

Well, I got them ^^ thats why Im posting here, I want to know which of these is better before spending those runes...
By the way, if someone find such an ormus for trade, I would like to know... I've never seen a "Perfect" one

By the way Phoenix costs Vex Vex Lo Jah, now THAT is expensive, imo it's so class-oriented that it should cost less than a Spirit, which by the way is so ridiculous cheap.. the 4 sock shield costs more than the 4 runes together.

I prefer um viper and sanctuary. For PVM u dont need that much damage since u kill everything in 1-2 hits so a extra 1-2k wont help, for PVP the only way - resist will help you is if they have lower than 75 or just exactley 75, or 95 if they use hotspurs, and if they have lower than or just close to 75 there a pushover anyways.

I'm with cheesy... though if all your res are full. I would go spirit/viper.
Thia will load you up with not only skills/dmg, but also alot of FCR, and that ever importnant FHR which all sorcs seem to ignore... good luck.

20%fire dmg will give u an amount of 500 dmg for fireball, so about the shield spirit is your best choise.

The skils gives more dmg then pure % fire dmg that is aded only to the fire mastery.
