Anyone ever see a cockroach fly? One time, I was chasing this sucker in Vietnam with a can of Raid. Backed him up into a corner, and the bugger took off into the air!

i guess they can...aren't they basically robust beetles?

i usually spray ethanol at them...they go down fast :grin: ..although they revive after like 3-5 mins...but they breathe in that pure OH and bam down they go....

well actually i have only used this method on mosquitos and spiders...i haven't a clue if it will even work on roaches:shocked:

You should do something weird to them during their down time.

I like to torture cockroaches.
Once my bro tied this giantass cockroach to a 2 foot long piece of string, and we just took turns twirling the roach over our heads for a few hours.

=P they started at 3 inches...byt the time they were 15inches i was feeding them bits of steak (since it was both cheaper and more humane then sending in dozens of goldfish to their doom....)
