I estimate 300-500, depending on how you lick it.
If you lick by putting the entire thing in your mouth and sucking on it vigorously, I'd imagine the number would be less.
If you lick it by just lightly running the tip of your tongue over the surface, then it should take quite a lot more to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop.

I think DNA needs to be used in conjunction with fingerprint/eyewitness/forensic/whatever else evidence in order to help reduce that chance of DNA being wrong.

lol..thats what i said...you run the suspect (A short list generally) against sample DNA from the crime scene...what are the chances it will match? you are more likley to run into false negatives (human error) tahn false positive...right?....dondrei and i didn't really see eye to eye on it...he still think DNA evidence "isn't worth squat"...

i think it worth more than that..im not saying its a cure all...and end all investigations type of thing...but rather a tool in increase the conffidence of presecutors in linking a suspect to the crime/crime scene...(i mean just because you were at the crime scence doesn't = you were the perp right? =P)
