there's more than 1 sort of metal. I really like some of the finnish / swedish metals, as they aren't nearly as harsh as death metal + all that moshpitting nonsense brewed in North A. Which isn't to say our euro counterparts are foreign to moshing... it's just Cooler sound.

Like, Kovenant ~ synthetic/ space metal, In flames...

Nightwish / Rhapsody they all have their unique sounds to them. vS stuff like mudvayne (guitars oKay.. I guess, but I've heard goats bleat smoother tunes than them) or uh... Slayer I guess. (south of heaven was Kooh tho).

- factions is the guildwars xpac - adds 2 new classes, buncha stuff. Alliances, new missions , skills.. I'm not really expecting much from it. The new environments were very appealing visually - but it seems to be very much the same style gameplay (and really, can't expect it to be otherwise - i mean, who changes the game engine upon xpac release :rolleyes: )

SHmovie could've been so much better. Had they, actually had the woman FIGHTING something. Instead of running like a lil boya that's just been paddled with a cattleprod. Considering the darkness + general evil feel of the 1st game, compared to This... it's just not... enough. I can't discern whether it tries too hard, or not well enough to be what it's supposed to be. It's like the photography was patched up alongside a middleschool's english script without having any prior go betweens amongst the 2 - straight to theatres.

Yah, that was posted in the OTF a coupla days ago.

choreography's pretty good, but they're slow on their swings several times, like if they were really meaning to hit each other, it'd be much faster. Something just doesn't click - makes it look fake =/

Zzz.
They were still holding metal rods of some sort or another. I didn't mean the special lightsabre-effects, I meant the way they swung em. Even look at kids playfighting with sticks. They don't swing with the intention of letting their opponent catch up (and catch the blow), its swing to hit. it just felt like they were letting each other off; that it'd be much faster delivery on some of the swings if they were true to what they were acting.

Which isn't to say it'd be easy, and i imagine they'd get rodpwnt a few times on misses and stuff, but it lacks that ferocity...

lol..yah i don't like abrassive metal....although some of it is ok....

i know my cousin likes some mainstream band that sounds like what you're describing for the operatic metal...they have slow movements of emo style sining...and then *wham* metal screaming etc...and *bam,* the tempo slows down again...etc

i forget what the band is called but they are armenian

got samples of your mentioned music? (also i liked one of the ones you had last time...but i forget the name of it...ill have to check it out when i get home =)....)

as for msg progs...i only have one my cousin setup on my comp...i think its AIM or something....not sure if they are the same...i didn't use MSN a long time ago..before they took it out at work =P

er.. I only listed 2 artists as ~operatic~
The other ones -like mudvayne- were example of crappy metal

Other cata's symphonic metal - but they sorta just meld together as well.
Think I forgot ERA too - electronica / metal with Lotsa latin hymnals mixed in o.O
