My next goal is to do butterfly knife spinning, because it looks really cool.

Id suggest to start with a one sided blade then work your way to l33t status like me and use a double edged one. Mines a hand over legal limits here in florida meaning its about two hands or just a little under so fugure like 7 inches ^,^ yeah a real pig sticker ill have to take a shot of it and post it.
