Nope- I'm using netscape 7.2, which I believe is a mozilla based browser (iirc) these days. I try not to use IE.

I get the script- i was just wondering as they were the same color as regular links, I guess that it's a question only of if it's underlined.

I'm using Opera though, but not seeing the ads may be because of my firewall.

Hmm weird, on the link AE gave I can see the double underlined link fine with color and everything, but never on this forum.

No, its not because of your firewall, its just a script built into the site code, it isnt trying to access your PC in any way.
And in firefox (FF > IE) the links are the same colour as normal, but have 1 underline, as opposed to the normal no underline, just orange link.
Is there a list with all the words used on this site for the ads?

Not true IIRC 50% of people who click on an advertisement purchase something thats being advertised. Just because your not the one who buys things doesn't mean it doesn't work. You ever watch the popcorn video, you know the one that makes you want popcorn, it was used in theatres before subliminal messages were well known. Patrons would get extremely hungry for popcorn since the movie told them to be and the theatre would rake in the money selling over priced popcorn. I watched the movie once but the frames look like flashes to my eyes and the image they portray is little more than an image. Raise your hand if you watched fight club and saw all the porn images embedded in the movie. :howdy:

Now i thought that was just a myth about the porn in fight club, after they mention doing it as a projectionist. Is it true? im going to have to view it frame by frame now to check, purely for research of course...

I started noticing the past week or so I think. If you have an AMD chip with Athlon processor, sometimes the sound card can make noises in video games. Even the P2 has problems with a bad spawn or when you are in a battle. The video games or online game that I like the most is Diablo but if your video card is bad you will end up with black and white.


I suppose we can live the advertising as it beats going back to need for speed underground or even playing madden nfl 2005. So let the underlines fill the threads for this is not the age of camelot with the neverwinter nights.
