maximum number of sockets from lazurek

I just found an ethereal colosus volgue in nithlacks lair in hell and it has no sockets as of yet. It is my understanding that lazurek will add the maximum number of sockets to the item which in this case is 4 for an elite polearm. My question is this.....can i mule it to another character in a normal difficulty game and get 4 sockets or does it have to be in hell as my sorc already used that quest up in all 3 levels of difficulty.

Yes you can use the quest on any level and the result will be the same. Only thing that matters is the item level which will stay the same.

Pitty ! I found Superior MAtron Bow in MAuzoleum (area lvl 85) with +3 Skills, but clean one ! So I also thaught that I can get maybe 4socketsm rather then 5, but seems bad luck :((((( !!!

Did you want 4 and got 5?

Larzuk will always add the max. number of sockets for the item type and item level in question. For Grand Matron Bows, that means 5 sockets.

Thats main problem as I cant use recipee - the item is Superior !!! And recipee works for normal items only ! So only way of socketing would be Larzuk, but he wilkl give max number which is 5, and I need just 4 :((( !!!!
