I've tried to find the info and think I may have found some pieces, but can anyone answer these questions for me.
Does knockback work with Blade fury?
Explosions like exploding arrow?
Crushing blow?
Piercing?
I'm looking at a trap assasin with demon machine/razortail combo on switch for lightning immunes. Trying to find out if this stuff works on blade fury or not..
Also blade fury shows all the little blades coming out at a very high speed, is that just a graphic effect or is each blade actually doing damage? Does it depend on your IAS or not?
Hope these can be answered.. Thanks!!

Every little blade is doing damage. If it hits anyway - it IS AR based remember - takes a decent AR to hit anything. It is not at all dependent on IAS or Casting Speed. It goes at the speed it goes, and that speed cannot be changed by anything at all, not even being chilled by cold effects or slowed by "Slows target by X" stuff.Originally Posted by gkelso
Do note however that being chilled or slowed can affect how quickly you start to fire blades, as you need to go through a little crouch and shove hand out animation before they start firing. But once they start they whiz along at the usual speed and rate of fire.
Thanks for info.. too bad explosions don't work. So blade fury is not going to be an option for me then.. I can work without it really..
Here's the build I'm looking at.
Weapon 1 setup is 2 claws with + trap skills. Lightning sentry traps
Weapon 2 setup is for lightning immunes with a demon machine x-bow
With demon machine and razortail I will have 99% pierce.
With venom maxed and trang ul's gloves I will have in the neighborhood of 1200 poison dmg per second on the weapon alone. With enchantress buffing me with an additional 1500 or so fire damage to add to a level 6 exploding arrow that demon machine performs, this should be more than enough with piercing to take out big lightning immunes packs of mobs very quickly.
Only thing is I'm still trying to decide if I want a shadow warrior or higher damage lightning traps as I'll be tight for skill points by maxing venom.
Neat way to take out lightning immunes. Very intuitive!
Good luck buddy.
Kiezer.
Max fire Blast instead of Venom - then drop 1 point in Master and Blade Fury (leaving 1 pt in Venom anyway). You get the best of both worlds, and if you use +all skills rather than +traps your Shadow should be a decent level even at 1 point.
Good thinking, but I think there are stronger ways to do this. At least you'd be unique.![]()
Just some casual reading for you... all U ever wanted to know and more will be answered there....Originally Posted by gkelso
