So I found out today that a classmate of mine is being "let off the hook" by our teacher for her final project. I'm a graphic designer, for all those who weren't aware. We're currently learning to use a 3d program called Maya. It is a huge nono to make something totally from other people's work, aka visual form of plagiarism. This classmate, however, has downloaded a series of 3d models (a plant, a building, a couch, etc) and made her entire 3d environment from these models. Not a single piece is her own. We found out the teacher is letting her do this because the teacher feels this student cannot learn how to use Maya. GRRRRR! How wrong is that? If she can't learn the program, she shouldn't be allowed to pass the class. We talked to the administrator of our program about this. I hate stupid people.
