i thought of somethnig cool to do: take a 4os shield/armor/weapon and put the 4 different facets into them (die facets). this way when you die youll cast 4 different elemental skills . id die on purpose just to see the fireworks.

in diablo playing a common character build may get boring. ive listed several 'alternative' builds that are really fun. help me list some more.

So I remembered why I hate Softcore today...

I took my Barb into a trading game to level my Mercenary today and SOJ's were being sold, so the Necro that was in the game invited a few of his friends and I told them I was going to make it interesting and hostiled them.

After a bit a Barb came and I asked to duel him 1 on 1. We dueled and I was considered a "noob" for going back to town after sparing to leave the game and mule some charms over. I came back to the came and there were now 5 of them waiting for D Clone. Necro, Barb, 2 x Paladin, and a level 99 Amazon (WF, 160/60 IAS, 120/45IAS, etc). They proceeded to talk **** as I tried to talk the Barb into a 1 on 1 duel. I went to the Cold Plains and was followed by a Paladin and the Necro. Both proceeded to die without me dying once. I then convinced the Barb to duel me 1 on 1 after he came to the Cold Plains and we sparred for a bit, before the Necro and Paladin came back to 3 on 1 as I retreated to Stony Fields.

I messaged him to come to the Far Oasis and he did shortly after. I went off to get him to follow me away from the waypoint and he did. Shortly after I notice that the Amazon and Paladin have decided to jump on me as well. The Hammerdin quickly fell as I believe he had some subpar PvP gear.

I ran off and the Barb and Zon followed me to the Dry Hills. I name-locked my Tele and short WW the Amazon and she fell in two hits. The Barb and I then WW dueled for a bit until he claimed to be out of mana. Since that is really no reason to stop a fight I hit him with one Conc while he was running (1/3 Block penalty) and a quick WW right after to end the duel.

It was a bit too easy to fight this many people...

Hardcore has much more class, but it's fun to mess around on Softcore. If anyone wants to duel on East Barb v Barb NL my account is *MoS.

Hope you all have some fun PK stories too!

P.S. - I killed most of the super uniques that I could too so D Clone couldn't spawn. I don't think that I got them all but after all of the bickering by the children I left the game laughing.

I was avoiding making an OT thread because for one, I figured it would just generate a ton of spam and pointless increases in post counts (which I will devour accounts for, you have all been warned), and secondly I wasn't sure how appropriate the Admin viewed them.

Barb FAQ has taken a delay hit thanks to my thesis getting in the way; real life is irritating like that

As for UO, it was on delay because I was waiting on the new graphics patch from OSI so I could implement dual wielding, and similarly because the map making tool I require to build the world hasn't been released yet. Irritating, indeed.

hahahaha, me and BigBallerPaul say that all the time; it stemmed from a spelling error when we were discussing the "woo woo" video over on ebaum's world.

Jordy just kept asking me to make an OT thread cuz he was too chicken, thinking you would ban him permanently, after you've robbed him from his girlfriend, friends, money and dog. I on the other hand have none of these things mentioned, so I felt safe :winner:

I have to leave soon to school, got my first official test today ! German reading+basic grammar, which shouldn't be too hard for me because the first trimester its a general review of stuff we've seen in highschool.
