Yea, the kids and wife can reach on top of the counters....barely, but they still can do it.

Squippy can't reach the counters, so that is a plus. And she sleeps on my feet and keeps them warm.

My dogs can barely make it on the bed, half the time they don't make it.

Squippy has that problem sometimes. She has to keep jumping in place for a while to build up steam, then one big jump and she usually makes it.

Yea, it's really funny when they don't make it the first time. Sometimes they'll just whine by the bed after they fail.

I had a small trampoline for exercise when I hurt my ankle. (The wobblyness was to help strenthen the ankle, not for jumping). I keep it half under the bed and half out, and the cats use it to step on to get up. Very handy for the oldest one.
