Today I clicked on the "My Kit" link in your sig; I had always thought it was a "kit" of gear, i.e. a screenshot of one of your Barbs, I was delighted to find a 7-Piece Pearl set :laugh:

Couple questions (nice set by the way..) Im fairly sure the EX sets only come with one snare, whats the other one? And how is the Pearl double-kick working for you? Those shaft driven double-kick pedals always frustrate me, but who wants to pay for (or position/lug around) two bass drums :sad2:

Haha, thanks Yerb. I'm loving the eliminator double - the changeable cams are great, and all the adjustments really let you make up for the shaft drive. The only thing I'd suggest changing on one if you got one would be to swap out the beaters for Iron Cobra ones; they're just that much better, imo.

The other snare is just a Chad Smith Signature that my grandmother bought me one year. Not incredible, but better than the stock one. I replaced the hoops with Die Casts, put nylon washers on it, and got some Puresound snare wires to help it out some. Pretty pleased with it right now, though I'm thinking about getting a reference snare at some point.
