He did put together a CD of songs he knew I liked from differnt CDs in my collection (back before things like i-pods)

I've done this too. My gf really likes disney songs (can't blame her, there're some really really good ones there imho) so I made a CD for her containing the best disney love songs. She sure was happy about that too.

Making my computer run right. Keeping my feet warm at night. Getting me little sweets as suprises. Making dinner when I really don't feel like it. Doing the chores I detest (vacuming) with out badgering. Opening pickle jars (even thoguh he REALLY hates the smell of them). The list goes on

My woman cleans up cat barf (and sometimes Jude barf). Beat that! And writes poetry, and cooks for me, and a million other things...

yep, goltar takes care when the fuzzy b*tt in my tar takes it in her head to eat tinsel, plants, string, ribbon, etc. He also takes care of the cat litter, so long as I take care of the gerbil litter.

While we're braggin, my woman shouldered all the burden of paying for two people's rent, cleaning up, laundry, and cooking all on top of almost 50 hours a week of lab work and 12 hrs a week of hotel breakfast work over the summer. And she never missed an Ultimate Frisbee practice or game.

gerbils, plural. we have 4, the remaining result of a breeding pair from 3 years ago. They're in three serperate cages and since the cat's room is not the same as there's and it's up on a counter where she's not allowed, nope. Actully, we've never had a problem, she'll sit and watch them for hours if she's allowed, but they're in glass cages so she couldn't get at them even if she wanted to.

I'm going to go cook something for my partner. She should be back from work soon. I'll check in here again, at least to look around, when I get everything in the oven. Thanks for the company, everyone!
