I'm glad for your parents patients rizzo, but one american streotype that's more than a little true is a love for numers and pigeion holing things for eaiser classification. the less subjective something can be made, the better. Simplify it and then you can do more in less time, and get your message across more easily too.
I'm sorry you're having such a hard time cor, though I was glad to hear you kept your head in an emergency.
Blech, I've been trying to gain weight for two years, but it just doesn't seem to work. You can see my ribs when I stand up, and I'd rather fill out a little. Unfortunately, playing Ultimate Frisbee keeps my weight lower than is probably healthy for my height.
Way to keep those l33t ninja skills under control Cor :wink3:
Riz: I know I'll probably get used to the glasses sooner or later, but I was always the person in my family that had immaculate vision, and they figured I wouldn't need any form of vision enhancement until I was well into my 40s. Stupid headaches and stress on the optic nerve. At least I was able to pick out glasses with my girl so that the ones I'll have will be fashionable, and stylish.
Riz/WM: From my experiences globetrotting, and being sick while travelling, I have to say that by and large the doctors in the states are pretty solid physicians. They've all helped me get better whenever I'm ill, and while it may cost me, but I feel that I've always received exemplary care whenever I've gone to the hospital, my primary care physician, or any specialist. Canada on the other hand has not been nearly so stellar...
There is no deal with "girls everywhere". Certainly not and I hope I didn't appear thinking like this... I actually don't have a great need for a gf in general, I am just a bit jealous of my friends who are happy with their gfs sometimes... but especially now after all this.... I feel very lonely...Originally Posted by Ana

that's b/c you probably fall in an ideal BMIthat and you aren't there for long term care.
I'm listed as optimal BMI, but just barely so, and I'd rather not show off my ribs on every occassion.Originally Posted by water_moon

Long term care... perhaps not. But I have spent time in the last six months going to different doctors to try to find the source of my overly frequent headaches.
what I'm saying is that your PCP isn't bound to an insurance co in the US. If I get pregnat, I can't go more than 30 miles from my house after the 6th month. If I do and I have to go to the hospital or doctor for any reason, I have to pay every penny myself.
Yech, that's rediculous. I see your point now.Originally Posted by water_moon
And I am all the way around Kaysaar. I've been strugling the last 2 years against my weight (I don't want to be fat again) so far so good...........
I was a chubby kid, my parents told me two years ago (after I got in good shape) that they had never expected to see me with any sort of muscle definition :shocked:Originally Posted by Arreat_mercenary
I picked mine myself. Or.. I found around 7 pairs that I liked from various stores (at least 6 different stores) and showed them both to my gf and my family. They helped my decide by giving me their honest opinion each of them. In the end I picked those I liked the best out of two pairs. Wasn't easy, wasn't cheap... costed 5000 dkr ~ 900 us $. ow.Originally Posted by Kaysaar
