Pindleskin, he's the unique monster in the area you enter from the red portal by Anya in act5 once you have rescued her.
Just make sure that you don't kill nilathak (or however you spell it) once you do that the portal closes and you can't get to pindleskin anymore> The reason to keep it open is that pindleskin will sometimes drop hihg level items that you can use or are good for trading.
I get that, but what kind of monster is him? What lvl? How do I identify him? Is him on of those stupid resurecting undead warriors?

when you go through the red portal by anya run directly for the covered area so you don't have to deal with the undead that pop up. Pindleskin is the superunique that is directly inside of the covered area. he is always fire enchanted, so he has the nice gory pop, which in NM and hell can also kill you. You can actually kill nihlithak and get the quest and keep the red portal. The trick is DON'T GET THE WAYPOINT IN THE HALLS OF VAUGHT (or halls of pain or whatever it is). if you get the waypoint, even if you havn't killed nihlithak, the red portal will dissapear. This isn't a big deal in normal, since mfing normal is somewhat of a joke, but keep your red portal open in NM and hell.
Pindle has never dropped me a single decent item - never one worth keeping, and zero uniques. 'Never' covers a bout a hundred runs in 1.10 and several hundred in 1.09 - supposedly before he was nerfed.Originally Posted by ZygFryD
Pindle is very quick to run, though - takes less than a minute if you bypass all his minions outside. But I would consider running Baal instead - not only will he drop stuff, but you'll level wonderfully in NM until about clvl 75. After that, the MF hotspot is The Pit in the Tamoe Highlands.
