last ladder: vex in pits. a few ums and one gul i believe
this ladder: LO in chaos sanctuary. 2 ums in bloody foothills doin shenk runs. neither came from shenk himself. ist from countess. a few puls, kos, lums lems fals etc etc etc.
Guess I'm one of the liars then. Four year player though. 1 x Zod (1.08) and 1 x Cham (1.10)
Best I've ever found was an UM and that wasn't even on battle.net :(
Ohm from chest behind meph (i've heard of several people geting ohm from that chest)
An ist from I think a council member in level 3
3 hellforge ists
2 hellforge guls
Too bad I made really bad trades with most of them![]()
Best I've personally found is Pul, twice from the forge, once in nm (hooray!) and once in hell (boo!). Other than that, a Fal dropped for me in nm Halls, and a Ko dropped for me, maybe from nm Countess.
We have, of course, had tons of runes donated to the runeword search team, but I personally found none of them.
EDIT: exhibit_a: Check out Urlik's Guide, here.
Found a Vex right after the release of 1.09 in NM bloodyhills: remember those runs? Also found a Lo, NonLadder.
I still have the thing just sitting on a mule (not expired)
This ladder season I found Pul in NM and Pul in hell when I rushed my first mule. The next mule netted a Ko and Mal. Now all I get is Lum or lower from hell forges.
My favorite kinds of runs of all time. They never "failed" (baal and cow) and you could work with people as much or as little as you wanted to.Originally Posted by Cooked
A vex rune back in hell cows back in 09. It was funny, when I got it someone actually asked "Hey can I have that rune that just dropped?" Right, like I was going to give the best rune I ever found to some smuck I didn't know.
In 1.08b i found a Zod rune (Yes, it's true! No fiction) with my bowazon in
singleplayer (didn't have broadband back then). This season i've found
a Ber on pindle skin, Ist on a baalrun and Pul in the Ruined Temple.
Pretty much all i've found![]()
I had a Mal drop during an Andy run in hell from one of the Shamen.
