ok heres the scoop... im gonna be having to quit here soon and ive always wanted to throw a 16 man... mannered duels, zeal tourny!!! seems im quiting ive got a few runes to spare so....

and you dont have to pay a dime to enter!!!! free entry ... first 16 to enter are qualifed for the duel... i will have a extra section for extra people that wanna join incase someone fails to confirm that they will duel upon the givin date...

If we are to recieve 32 entrees or more... i will make up a 32 man bracket... if you fail to confirm that you can duel on the givin date you will be considered a forfeit and your opponent shall move on to the next round... im gonna put the date up there to 2 weeks from now ... so

The Start Date is Oct. 7 ....

this should give you enuff time to practice and get the right setup that you feel suits you best in the duel.... thanks all that enter and good luck.

Rules and Regulations!

1. Absolutly No Items that add aurus

2. Absolutly No items with a chance to Cast ANYTHING!!!

3. Absolutly no charges from your items...

4. Only zeal is allowed... no smite/charge

5. No potions /Shrines /or wells

6. Both Duelers must post go above there head before the match starts.

7. Poison Cap = 150... charms will be checked

8. CTA is Allowed! but there will be no pre-buffing... items used when you cast shouts shall be the items kept on during the duel..

9. First zealer to 5 wins is declared the winner.

10. No running into town during a duel... if you run into town it counts as a loss.

11. Only one char allowed per an acct/player

12. Maximum of 10x 3/20/20s

13. No 08./buged items

14. NO SLOW

OK im opting a New Rule due to demand!!!!!!

Cta is only to be used if Both chars agree to use CTA!!!! also Both duelers must have Cta to use Cta... this way it makes it a much more fair

the rule is decided... if you dont have a cta professer... then the person you duel will not be able to use there cta either.

Hey Blue, this is your tournament and your rules and I don't mean to criticize to rules. This is just my take on banning charge.

I can understand the reason for banning smite since it is vastly stronger than zeal. Level 1 smite can probably overpower any zeal. However, all charge does is adding another dimension to zeal duels. If you do it right, it gives you a better chance to win. If you make mistakes with it, zeal will kill you quickly. Without charge in zeal duels, there are only two plain factors that determine the outcome. First factor is the equipment. The second factor is the running start into zeal, which gives you a better chance of first hit. Sure you can walk back to get a start of your own, but then it'll be a back and forth game until someone decides to give up and start the duel.

Rules are rules, especially this is blue's tournament. The post above is my personal view about charge in zeal duels which I don't think many zealots share.

Whenever I'm zeal-dueling without using charge, I'm always trying to find a way to counter the running start. It seems that there is no simple way unless you are walking or running back to do a running start of your own. Enigma and some frw gears may help in this case.
