Such as a different Golem or Skele or Revive?Originally Posted by Mad Mantis
Skellies will do an excellent job. If you can keep the Revives close to you via teleport they will also be very good, but I was referring to CG.Originally Posted by OmegaHatred

that baal problem can be fixed by giving your merc guills(<--short hand) set helm it gives cb..it OWNS baal... i love my summoner all i do is recast my clay golem and cast decrep on baal... at this point he is crawling slower than a new born baby and my merc goes to work and gets the job done fairly quicklyOriginally Posted by LutinDeFourche
I have built two highly succesful poisonmancers. They can do any area of the game.
20 to each psn specialty
One in revive
5 or 10 in lower resis (more IS better)
rest in CE.
Good merc (I like prayer and insight, or high damage obediance which has 40% cb).
Decent items (3 trangs including gloves) and some psn facets. Death's web or bramble, and you will have no problem whatsoever. Just run around casting LR and spamming psn, and they die. In Pvm psn does not take them to 1 life, it kills them (like your merc would die in town if poisoned).
that is a nice psnancer...but not neccesarily the best MFer for a nec..i think pure summoners and bone/necs make for nicer mfers...they wear both goldwrap and 40% chancies and can use a shield with mf...
vs psn nec who prefer 3 piece trangs....
in anycase i think 1 pt into LR is pretty much good enough..you get alike -60% is it worth it to bump with 19 more Skill points to reach ~-70%..but i guess if you have nothing better to max...
Should blackbogs sharp really be used here? I think it's more designed for poison dagger necros. I would prefer deaths web. It reduces the enemies poison resistances with 40-50%, which is huge. If the enemy has 95% poison resistance, your damage will be multiplied by more than 10. And it gives some nice + skills
Does all character have equal amount of chance of finding items or is any char better? I've heard legends about barbarians having better 'natural' mf but I think they were just meant to scare young children.
Ach, the pit is slow today.
