The Saints.. Now that's a team I'd like to see go the distance.... Just because they haven't. I want to see an underdog team like the Saints go balls out and just dominate the field. Take them "Golden Teams" and make em eat astroturf. Problem is even when they start a season off well they just don't last. Even the newer expansion teams have made it to the show before them.Originally Posted by Ash Housewares

thats when I started in as a Saints fan, when Brooks broke out and they started clobbering the Rams, I picked them for the superbowl the next year, and if the season was only 12 games long then maybe...Originally Posted by rplusplus

Parker gave up a fumble inside the five to turn it over. Like I said in the other NFL thread, the first half is the ebst sign of what will happen in the regualr season, and the Steelers lead after the first two quarters.
I met Az Hakim two years ago. He stopped by the shop I was working at in North Island (didn't even think about getting an autographOriginally Posted by Ash Housewares

Unless McCombs sells the team to local folks, there's always going to be talk of the Vikings moving someplace else. They play in an inflatable toilet, afterall.Originally Posted by Ash Housewares
The football picks game will return this year. I'll start it up after the preseason is finished and before the Thursday game. And is anyone else peeved that the regular season starts in the middle of the week?
other than the expansion fee we would probably want an expansion team instead of the vikings in all honesty
we have a concrete toilet in LA

That division is going to be tough. I expect a dogfight between the Pack and the Vikes for #1, with the Bears causing more trouble than people expect. The Lions will be better than usual, too.Originally Posted by SelfBaisResistor
Also, I think the Rams wil flop this year. Bulger throws a lot of INT's, Jackson won't be able to cover for Faulk and the defense will suck. Seattle takes that division by at least 2 games.
It doesn't matter. The Vikings will choke as usual.Originally Posted by Xoranix
Of course they will. They wouldn't be the Vikes if they didn't, now would they? :lol:Originally Posted by SelfBaisResistor
