Since Andariel on NM already has a high chance to find unique rings you can get there VERY fast.
Nonono, you're never guaranteed to find a certain item except anihilus from diablo clone or quest items. You find 15 sojs before you find a single nagelring or do 1000 runs without even finding a single unique ring. Odds are unlikely but it's definitely not guaranteed that you'll find a soj after XXX runs.

Not afer XXX runs. Thats not what i said. I said after you have found a certain amoutn of unique rings from Andariel at NM. I think the number mentioned there in the guide was 141 unique rings. At that stage the chance of getting a SOJ from Andariel is 99.02 % !

Have a look at that guide Soep

I would have to guess that the chance of finding a SOJ after 141 unique rings is exactly the same as after 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,etc.

The more uniques the bigger chance, total. But of course is the chance for a Stone of Jordan the same at each attempt.

So that guides says on your 142th unique ring you have 99,02% of it being a soj? Nono that's not right. Like ash said, every time you have the same chance. I think what the guide means is that, after 142 unique rings, your chance is 99,02% that you will have at least 1 soj between them. But that doesn't mean if you get 141 other unique rings that your next one is almost always a soj.

This is simple statistics people! Compare it to throwing a dice. Take a normal dice and throw it 6 times. What are the odds of having a result of 6 if you throw 1 time? 1/6. Now if we throw 6 times, how many 6s can we expect? Basic statistics tell us 1/6 * 6 = 1. So the expected number of 6's in 6 throws is 1. This is not the same as a 100% chance for a 6 given 6 rolls. The odds of at least one 6 is 1 - (5/6)^6 = 66.5%, so there's still 33.5% chance of no 6's when throwing a die 6 times.

For the SoJ, the same holds. If you want to know how much chance you have at finding at least use the following forumula:

    Chance for at least 1 SoJ = (1 - (1 - drop_chance_SoJ)^(number of runs))*100%

To find the chance to find a SoJ in the n-th run, use the following formula:
    Chance for a SoJ in the n-th run = ((1 - drop_chance_SoJ)^(n-1) * drop_chance_SoJ)*100%
