Well, they are all moving along just fine. Walnut is definitely the most fun with the summons and molten boulder is a fun skill... too bad it isn't really viable for an endgame skill. Got one more level with Hazelnut, it won't be too long before she actually has some decent skills. Time to go rock some flayers.

ArcticSiren - This has to be the most depressing character ive ever built.
She is lagging behind and holding up my whole team, they have both completed act 4 but not taken the portal, because they must wait for her to complete act 3.
As if act 2 wasnt long and tedious enough, now shes got all of act 3 to complete.
Ive been tempted several times just to get her killed so that I could progress further with the two characters I enjoy playing.

I know what you mean, the amazon is much slower, and has low damage output. But amazons are also very safe chars with the decoy and the valk, and the slowness also adds to the safety, you won't be charging into trouble because you will know you can't get out.In the long run they do start to get more powerful too, so hang in there!

Oh, and another question. I'm so full of these. The rewards are for making Destroyer/Conquerer. Does that mean we can start using the uniques as soon as we kill Baal on the respective difficulties, or do we have to wait until we actually move on to the next difficulty before we can use them?

Very good question

I would say that once you have killed Baal, you will be allowed to equip uniques/sets/crafted items on your chosen reward slot. This would make killing the Cow King a little easier as well before you progress onto the next difficulty.

just to clarify.. because 'Enigma' gives +1 to Teleport for everyone, you cannot use it, correct?

That question was answered:

You can use the armor, but not the teleport skill. If an item gives a passive bonus, I don't think you can use the item unless the passive bonus is for a tree you are using.

During the weckend mainly played with Hera. She uses lightning, CL (both needs large mana quantities) and finally FO. With her manapool she can cast it 5 times :lol: and without Warmth she needs A LOT of blue potions.

I had one stupid NDE with Delon. He keeled all fast with zeal on act1 (1 point as prerequisite of FoH). Things were going fine and I became cocky mindless moron. I started zealing LE boss with 0% LR. I don’t know what saved his life: my reflexes, fortune, good mood of the game or something else, but he passed through it alive with almost completely empty red bulb. I feel so stupid!

So Delon is still alive just because the fortune likes him, not because I have good playing skills. So sad… :(

Well I finally got started today with the Skellimancer and boy was it tough. Playing HC for the 1st time is a real eye opener.

He's lvl 13 and just got the outer cloister wp. No nice items picked up at all but I did manage to buy a nice wand for 40K. Ouch.......

Might go back and run the countess a bit for stuff b4 I clear Andy, I can't come back after I go to the next act right?

Well, the winners are back, progressing at the same leasurely pace as last time. Played all three chars yesterday, instead of doing DIY, as a good boyfriend should do, but oh well..... Made it up later though, but I'll not go into that one.

As stated slow progress and full clears were the order of the day, so everyone cleared the den of evil and reached lvl8+in the cold plains to hire a merc before bloodraven.

After that only the merovingian progressed towards the cloister, finishing the countess.
